Blue Fescue Ornamental Grass

The best time to put these plants in the ground is early spring. This will allow the plant time to become established before the heat of summer arrives.

Plants are usually sold in 1-, 3- and 5-gallon containers. Most of them are reasonably priced, although unusual varieties may tend to be expensive.

These plants may be set up in your garden individually as eye-catching specimens or as a focal point and/or back-drop for other plants and flowers.

Most varieties require 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight a day. Some afternoon shade is fine, especially in areas with hot summers.

These plants offer year-round interest and beauty. Leave the stalks of taller varieties standing after summer and you'll be quite pleased with the beauty your garden site will take on during the off-season.
