Gardening Gift Baskets

You can purchase ready-made gardening gift baskets online or you can make them yourself from scratch for your gardening friends. Here are a few ideas to get you started ...

Online you can find gift baskets filled with gardening tools, seed packets, hand creams, and even some yummy gourmet snacks! You can also find, instead of baskets, garden totes filled with some of these same items. Some companies will even monogram the tote for you!

You might choose to purchase a basket yourself and fill it full of practical garden items. A nice assortment of gifts could include a couple of garden tools, a few seed packets, a pair of gloves, a nail brush, some hand cream and a gardening book or magazine. The choices are unlimited for what you could put in the gift basket.

You might choose to instead, fill a tote or bucket bag as your basket. Be sure to choose a gardening tote made from sturdy easy-to-clean materials and one that has plenty of pockets. Tools that might fit in the tote could include weeding tools, a cultivating fork, trowels or gardening shears.

Other types of containers you might use instead of a basket or a tote could be a large decorative flower pot, a beautiful metal watering can, or even a small garden hopper (this is great to use as a seat to rest on when taking a break from planting or weeding) complete with drink holder.

Some other items you could include as gifts might be a bulb planter, a soil pH tester, a 4 in 1 tool sharpener, a gardener's gel knee cushion, a nalgene water bottle, a pair of garden clogs, plant markers ... the list is really endless. Choose gifts that your gardening friend might need or use in their garden areas.

You may wish to also include a few things that could be used outside their garden areas yet reminds them of gardening. Gifts like garden themed note cards, or a floral scented candel or bath salts.

Whether purchased online or packaged from scratch, gardening gift baskets can be something your gardening friends will appreciate and will remind them of you each and every time they use your choice of gifts for their gardening enjoyment.
